Welcome. My name is A’lea Ward, and I am a Holistic Psychotherapist. I’ve seen firsthand the benefits of incorporating the mind-body connection into treatment and I am passionate about sharing this knowledge.
I am also a strong believer in the therapeutic relationship and offer a safe and understanding space for you to share and grow.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University, and I am currently pursuing licensure.
My career began providing case management to homeless and low-income families. I quickly recognized the need for mental health and substance abuse services and have since dedicated
my career to helping clients overcome addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, impulsivity, low self-esteem, sleep disturbances, strained relationships, and trauma.
I understand each person is unique and I respect that you are the expert on your life. As a lifelong learner, I am dedicated to offering my clients a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet their
personalized needs. My eclectic approach includes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).
I am devoted to helping others achieve positive change and live a balanced life. I look forward to guiding you on your wellness journey.
