Destiny Pottebaum

My name is Destiny Pottebaum, and I hold a bachelor and master’s degree in Social Work while practicing towards licensure. I have been working in the social work field serving the community since 2013 and have helped various of populations: children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families. I have specialized experience in issues such as: crisis, grief, end of life. trauma, depression, anxiety, family dynamics, self-care, and boundaries. I enjoy facilitating grief support groups regarding any form of loss.
I work to see everyone as a unique person who is striving for a better-balanced version of themselves. My goal is to assist adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups in working through issues and helping them continue on their personal journey of growth. It is my belief that seeking support can assist one in becoming a more balanced and resilient individual.
I utilize supportive listening, the strengths perspective, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a variety of counseling techniques that are personalized for each person. I look forward to meeting you where you are and working together to reach your goals, while creating a safe space for you to discover, heal, and grow.
